Yesterday, we started on Geometry unit by learning about Translation. Today we are going to perfect our ability to perform that skill. And it’s all on Google Classroom!

Today is a day to catch up with any missing class assignments you might have. All pages have been posted in our Google Classroom site. If you have turned in everything, take the day off from doing math.

A few problems to work on in Google Classroom today. Won’t be able to grade it as quickly as usual, so don’t bombard my with emails asking for help.

Great job last week in learning how to use the Google Classroom site! This will be our go-to platform to use going forward. I’m ready to start teaching new material – last week’s success with my Algebra 1 classes showed me it can be done.

Today, we’ll challenge you with a few problems in our Google Classroom site. Later in the week, we might have a catch-up day for missing work and then on to Geometry.

A great job last week! Despite all of the challenges, 85% of you learned a new skill in addition to learning how to navigate Google Classroom. I intend to keep teaching new material. I want you to leave this class knowing as much as other Algebra 1 classes did, even if the State of Michigan still debates about whether it counts.
