I’ve also announced the assignments you are to complete when you finish your SSR book. The description for those assignments is available on my iLearn and here. You need to complete at least 1 Book Review Poster and 1 Final Thought for each cardmarking. This cardmarking ends on October 5th.

I hope you have enjoyed this long weekend.

Last week we got a lot of housekeeping details in order, but this week we begin our normal routines. It was great meeting all of you, and I look forward to getting to know you better as the year progresses. Thank you for sharing your stories and interests with me; I know it isn’t always easy to open up to a stranger.

This week we will be using our SSR text and our binders. Please be sure to have all materials when you come to class. I would hate for you to fall behind already.
