Dear Families,

I am so excited to have joined the school families at Woodworth Middle School and Oakman Elementary School.  I have a passion for supporting children and their families.   I began my career as a secondary teacher, and have taught in Indiana, Michigan, and South Africa.  I transitioned to school social work after obtaining my master’s of social work degree from the University of Michigan, and spent the last few years working at an elementary school in a nearby district.  I am so happy to have found a new home in Dearborn, and can’t wait to get to know the students and families in this wonderful community.

In addition to being a school social worker, I enjoy listening to podcasts and audiobooks, traveling to places both near and far, cooking, and spending time with friends and families.  I spend my summers teaching a summer school class and making the most of the beautiful weather by gardening and going to the beach!
