Raise Awareness

1 in 5 people live with a mental health condition. Each year we fight stigma, provide support, educate the public and advocate for equal care. Each year, the movement grows stronger. Raising awareness on your own, as part of a small group or part of your community can make a difference.

  • Learn about mental health and what it means to live with a mental illness
  • Fight misconceptions and stereotypes
  • Be there friends, family members and others in need
  • Teach others about the most effective treatment solutions that have the greatest chance to allow someone achieve recovery

Taking action and raising awareness of mental health conditions can break down obstacles and improve the chance of recovery for the millions of Americans with a mental illness.
