Ms. Beydoun’s Biography

August 28th, 2016 /

Hello and welcome to my Blog. My name is Mariam Beydoun and I’m a graduate of the University of Michigan-Dearborn with a bachelor degree in Mathematics, Statistics, and Anthropology. I also have a master degree in Masters At Teaching (MAT) with a certification in teaching Mathematics and English as a Second Language (ESL). Since I was a young child, I have had one career goal in mind, and that is to become a teacher. My ultimate life goal is to work at different schools settings in order to develop a rapport between parents and children that has never existed in our community.

To work for positive change and a better tomorrow on a local scale, and that is my job description of a teacher. I feel as though I have found my calling; teaching. Teaching is going to be the medium through which I hope to help the children of our future generations realize that they can also be productive and contributing sources to our society. I understand the pressure of high school and I promise that I will do everything I can to ensure you succeed in my class. At the same time, I hope you will make the same commitment to yourselves.

Remember, we all have dreams but in order to make dreams come into reality, it will take an awful lot of determination, dedication, self-discipline, and effort. I wish you all will have a great semester and a great year at FHS (Go Tractors!).
