On Friday’s un spelling test every student got a 100%. Thank you for working at home on the spelling homework, great job!!
Reading Log
In your green folder is a reading log to be filled out every night and returned every Friday. I will keep track of how many books read in the classroom after checking your log on Friday. If we reach the school goal of books read we will have a Farm Animal Assembly at the end of the month.
March is Reading Month
Please check the green folder for the fun activities that will happen this month.
I would love guest readers to come in and read to the class. It can be a book from home or I can provide the book. Please let me know by note, e-mail, or see me in the morning.
Pizza Kits
Hi River Oaks is selling pizza kits from Little Caesars. Our school goal is to sell 100 pizzas. On your order form , please put the following information: Ms. Sandi, turn in orders by March 8 and delivery is March 15 at 10:00 am. Payment should be collected as the orders are taken and make checks payable to River Oaks School.
Valentine’s day
We will celebrate Valentine’s day on Thursday 2-14-19.
The students are welcome to bring cards and candy to pass out. We have 24 students.
I will provide a treat for everyone.
Please make sure that the candy is wrapped.
100th Day of School
On February 11 we are celebrating the 100th day of school. To help the students understand what 100 of something looks like please bring in 100 pennies, rubber bands, paper clips, marbles, hair ties, macaroni, or anything small that will fit in a ziplock bag.
Also the students can dress like an old person! Be creative
