We will be having a mid term test in math this Monday and Tuesday. Please make sure the students are rested and have had breakfast.

Yes we will have a trip on Friday 10-19-18, times and place will be announced. I am hoping we will know early in the week.

There  will be a 1/2 day on Friday 10-12-18.

No School for Kindergarten Friday 10-26-18

Late Start on Wednesday 10-17-18 start time is 9:35am

The testing is all finished in the reading and math portions of the NWEA. We are now working on grouping the students in order to begin our reading groups with in the Daily 5.  More information to follow.

Next Friday 9-28-18 there is no school for the Kindergarten classes. The teachers will be attending a meeting.

Homework will be going home Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of every week for the math program. Homework is checked and assigned up to 10 points,  5 points for completion and 5 points for effort and neatness. Any questions please contact me, thank you.

Hi don’t forget the Color Run at River Oaks is this Saturday! If you can not register online you are able to register at the school. To register you need to be at River Oaks between 7:30 and 8:00am. You can choose to either walk or run the race.

We have begun to do the NWEA test for Reading and it is going smoothly. Next week I will start the Math portion of the test in groups of 3. If there is any parent that is able to come in for an hour to help monitor their progress, please let me know. I am flexible about the time, but mornings would be better.

The students are settling into the rules and routines of the school! Today everyone got on yellow by making good choices. Please continue to remind the students of the right behavior for school.

Wednesday 9-19-18 is a Late Start. Students will come to school at 9:35 and be dismissed at 3:35.

Color Run is on Saturday 9-22-18.  Please don’t for get to sign up and get pledges.
