Assignments for 3/19/20

How are my wonderful students today? I hope you all are staying safe, and remember to always stay positive. Love you all.
Today you have math, reading, and science. All assignments are up in google classroom, work on them there and turn the work in.
Math- go on the link and watch the video, then work on lesson 4 in the succeed math book

Science– go on the link for mystery science and watch video. You don’t have to do the project if you don’t have the materials. Just watch the video and answer the questions.

Reading– click on the link for ReadWorks and read Your Recycled House and answer the questions. Make sure you’re clicking on turn in, so I can get the work. I haven’t received some of the work. I’ll be sending an e-mail to the students that didn’t turn the work in.
Writing – write about the prompt in google docs and e-mail it to me.
What are the three branches of government? Look on the internet for more information. Write down three questions you would ask the president in an interview. Find out who is the governor of your state and the mayor of the city you live in. If you could ask them one question what would it be? What is one new law you would like to see enacted? Share your law with someone at home.

Tuesday’s assignments
Go to google classroom for today work on lesson 2 module 5. click on the link for readworks and read History of Halloween and answer the questions. All work will be posted on google classroom. I will receive the result of your work. Remember to stay positive and do all your work. I miss you guys, hope to see you soon.

Math– click on the link and watch lesson one module 5 and work on lesson 1 in the succeed math book for today. Work on Khan Academy and remember I will receive an e-mail every time you go on to confirm your time and effort with your work.
Reading– Read article Field Trip and answer all the questions provided.
I will be checking on google classroom every hour to see if you need help and if you’re completing the work.

Science
- Mystery Science – Mystery Science features multimedia science units for K-5. Each lesson consists of a series of short videos and prompts guide student discussion. This is followed by an experiment that can be done at home. Teachers can send students specific lessons via a link. Students do not have to be logged on to Mystery Science!
