About Me

My name is Hussein Bazzy and this will be my 9th year of teaching.  I have taught grades 1-5, but this is my sixth year teaching 5th grade.    I will treat your child as if they were my own, I will do everything I can to make sure they have a successful year and are ready for middle school!

I have some classroom pets, one snake, Bolly D and two bearded dragons.  I am the oldest of four and was born in Detroit and raised in Dearborn.  I enjoy working out, playing sports, reading and I love to perform MAGIC to my students.  I also enjoy making the classroom more interesting and fun, as well as teaching your child the basic needs of becoming a successful student as they transition into Middle School.    

I have an open-door policy and I am happy to meet with you anytime, but please remember that the start and end of the day are the craziest and I want to be able to give you or your children my full attention.  So please feel free to email me (I always check it) and I will write back as soon as possible.  That’s the best way to reach me because I’ve always got access to my emails…even on nights, weekends and holidays.  If we work together as a team, then your child will have a great year.

I’m very excited to be at William Ford.  It is a very special school and I hope I’ll get to know all of you as the school year progresses!
