Hello everyone!
Yes! You guessed it right! I will be back to teaching you starting April 14, 2020.
So much has happened when I was gone on my maternity leave…Julia has two new siblings Angelina and Catalina and my family is now blessed with three beautiful girls. I have been so busy with them so I have not been able to fully answer all of your messages. However, I truly miss you and miss talking to you on things we are passionate about, therefore I am back :).
It came to my attention that we have now moved to full online instruction. This makes me super excited about this whole new learning experience for you and myself (I cannot wait to share all the cringy Bio memes that I have stacked up for you ;)).
I promise to make things as SMOOTH, SIMPLE, and EXCITING as I can. In the meantime I ask you to be patient yet cooperative. I ask that we both invest time in this experience together so we move you to your next grade level/ Science class as prepared as possible. WE GOT THIS!
As you all know, we have always done circle talk in my class and your voice was ALWAYS heard. As a matter of fact, many days you have driven the instruction and shared with me what YOU think we should be learning next. I thank you for that and for making such objective and informative decisions TOGETHER. To continue with this process, I have setup a survey that will help shape your Biology classroom for the rest of the year. See under expectations below. In the meantime, I hope you are all staying home, staying safe, and spending time with your loved ones.

Expectations: Week of 4.13.2020
- Complete all your assignments with Mrs. Mansour per the due date provided and submit them to her, late work will not be accepted.
- Make sure that I am enrolled in Mrs. Bazzi`s iLearn and Google Classroom as well as Remind if I have not done so already, all three are not optional if you want to succeed in this course.
- Complete the survey on Google Classroom; due Friday April 17.
SURVEY (DUE 11 30 PM – FRIDAY 04.17.2020)
You have this week to log in to your hour`s Google Classroom and complete the survey posted. You can find it on the class`s main page or under classwork. I also created a reminded on google calendar that will send you an email once you sign up for the course.
Bazzi Biology’s Virtual Class Guidelines
- All work assigned by Sunday is due the following Friday.
- No extensions will be given, unless you communicate with me ahead of time with your excruciating circumstance, parental consent, and which may or may not be approved.
- All work will be graded, announcements will be made through the blog and you will be directed to either google classroom or iLearn.
- All your graded assignments will be imported into Student Connect where you will know whether you completed the work or not per the criteria defined in the assignment. Details will be shared later. Feedback will be provided there as well.
- This is a collective effort which means I will respond to all your messages as long as you send them!
