Hello! We are starting Lesson 1 tomorrow.  Please make sure that you have purchased your composition notebook for math class.  You will need it to take notes.

Testing is also scheduled for the next 2 days.  Please get plenty of rest and remember to eat breakfast!

• Started working on Frayer Models for vocabulary for Lesson 1
• Watched a tutorial video for Lesson 1
• Started prerequisite review for Lesson 1

• Started lesson 0.3 Think-Share-Compare Routine involving mixed numbers
• Subtract and add mixed numbers

• Practiced adding, subtracting, and simplifying fractions
• Created vocabulary Frayer Models for the words: common denominator, equivalent fractions, and benchmark fraction
