Batoul Bayram, Hadi’s mom works at the DMC Harpor Hospital. Since protective supplies are limited, she asked if I could help sew face masks to help her and her colleagues keep from getting the Coronavirus. Supplies are limited at our local hospitals and we need to help in anyway we can.
I am headed to JoAnn Fabrics first thing tomorrow morning to pick up supplies to make the masks. JoAnn’s has the supplies precut and instructions to make masks for donation. I have VERY little sewing skills, but was able to make my own version of the DIY masks last week.
Do any of our PreK moms, or friends of your family, have a sewing machine would be willing to help? I can pick up supplies for you to use when I go tomorrow and drop them off on your porch! I will also arrange for porch pick up so that we are staying with the guidelines of the CDC.
Our work can be donated to help our medical professionals and have an impact of their health while caring for those ill.
“Comment” below if you, or a friend you know is able to help!

This is so cute! I really don’t know of anyone who has a sewing machine though.
