Mama and Me

Parents and Children (ages 6 months—4 years old)

are invited to join us on:

Friday, November 22nd at 8:45 am

at River Oaks Elementary for a party to celebrate mama!

Activities Planned:

· Yoga

· Storytime/Songs

· Muffins/Coffee/Tea/Juice

· Special Mama and Me Crafts!

· Bonding with your young child!

Join us to celebrate how special our mama’s are. 

Children, Parents and Staff will sing, play and engage in activities together from 8:45-10:00am.

Just a reminder, next week all Dearborn students (PreK included) will have school on Monday and Tuesday.

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are no school days for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Our first fieldtrip will be on Wednesday, January 8th.

We will be headed to the Outdoor Adventure Center in Detroit and are planning this trip from 9:30 – 1:00.

All PreK children must have a parent attend the trip with them.

We will have the William Ford GSRP class join us for this trip.

I didn’t tell the kids yet, and please keep my secret! Tomorrow afternoon we will have a special visitor come to our class. Mr. Paul wil be coming and he will be bringing several animals for the kids to see/pet/hold and touch. Should be a very fun afternoon tomorrow!

Hopefully everyone made it home safely tonight. Just a reminder, the snow makes driving difficult especially in a crowded parking lot. Please keep your babies close to you in the parking lot here at school. With the added snow, we want to remind you that cars easily lose control…we want everyone to stay safe. HOLD HANDS!

Check the news listings for school cancellations. Typically teachers don’t know if there will be a snow day until parents are notified. Keep your eyes on the news, and ears listening to automated phone calls from Dearborn Public Schools.

There is no school this week Thursday, Nov 14th for Preschoolers. Ms. Aldafaii and I will be at school holding parent/teacher conferences from 8:30am-7:00pm.
