Lansing Trip is Tomorrow!!!
Destination Lansing
May 3, 2017
7:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Dear Parents,
Students and chaperones will be expected to check in at the Lindbergh cafeteria no later than 6:45 a.m. on the morning of the 3rd. The bus will be leaving Lindbergh at 7:00 a.m. exactly. Each person attending the field trip will need to bring a bag lunch with a non-glass drink. We will be eating at the Historical Museum . There is no purchase of food available. In addition to a lunch, we are asking students to bring two snacks for the bus ride to Lansing and the bus ride home from Lansing. Please keep in mind that we have peanut and nut allergies in our classrooms. They can also bring bottled water for their snack.
For the bus ride, students can bring electronic gaming systems. These will be left on the bus while we are on each tour. For the tours, students can bring a camera with them. We ask that if the camera is in the gaming system that an additional camera be brought. Any gaming systems that are brought by the students are the student’s responsibility. Teachers and chaperones are not responsible for electronics.
Your child will need to dress for the weather and be prepared to do some walking outside if needed. We are asking that students wear their Third grade Lindbergh shirts that we are ordering for the class to show our school spirit, if your child does not purchase one of the Third Grade shirts, please have them wear a different Lindbergh shirt or a red shirt.
We will be arriving back to school between 4:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. We are asking that all parents be at school by 4:30 p.m. to pick up their children. If your child is riding home with someone else or going to Kid’s Club, please indicate that in a written note. We will not release students to anyone other than parents unless we are notified in writing prior to the trip.
We also ask that children not bring any money. We will be busy exploring the capital and museums and have no time for stops at gift shops.
See you tomorrow morning bright and early!! We are looking forward to a great trip!!
