on May 15, 2020

We will be having a Big Blue Button meeting today at 1:00. Big Blue Button can be accessed through our class iLearn. Don’t forget that as a part of the meeting we will share our Superpower papers. Please be prepared to share when you join the meeting.

Students, if you are turning in an assignment on Google classroom that was assigned 5/4 – 5/8 please email me that you have turned it in. (This DOES NOT apply to students who are up to date with assignments.) Google classroom doesn’t notify me when you hand it in. This is not necessary for current assignments that were made this week 5/11 – 5/15.  I will not be accepting work from the weeks of 4/20 and 4/27 unless there is a health or technology issue that you contact me about.

************Don’t forget that Mrs. Baloga, Mr. Harvey, Mr. Goeke, Mrs Ackerman, Mrs. Poisson, and Mr. Kwiecien have assignments on Google classroom for you to work on.************

I’m going to have some pancakes for breakfast! Then I’ll get started with my work!

Spelling: Take your spelling test today on Spelling City. Remember, if you don’t sign in through google it will not record your score.

Social Studies: We will visit the Ohio River Valley, which you remember is the area that the British and French were fighting over during the French and Indian War. This is also the area that the colonists wanted to settle and were forbidden to with the passing of the Proclamation of 1763. (Remember the line?) When the American Revolution started, many tribes sided with the British because they thought this was the only way to keep people off their land. The Americans came in and built forts so they could be ready for battles with the British. How do you think the Native Americans felt about this? Watch this episode to find out! Then go to Google Classroom and finish the assignment called Honor and Compromise & The New Frontier. It is due Monday.
