After you have viewed the information, please have your child select two extended core classes using the embedded survey. Students must use their District gmail account to complete the survey. We will be having a Big Blue Button meeting today at 1:00. Big Blue Button can be accessed through our class iLearn. We will be reading the speeches then we voting for speeches so don’t be late!
Students, if you are turning in an assignment on Google classroom that was assigned 5/11 – 5/21 please email me that you have turned it in. (This DOES NOT apply to students who are up to date with assignments.) Google classroom doesn’t notify me when you hand it in. This is not necessary for current assignments that were made this week 5/26 – 5/29. I will not be accepting work from the weeks of 4/20, 4/27, or 5/4 unless there is a health or technology issue that you contact me about.

Today you will take the Mystery 6 quiz in Google Classroom. Make sure you have completed watching the whole mystery before you take the quiz. The quiz is due today, by the end of the school day.Complete any Scholastic News, Readworks, and old ELA assignments in google classroom today. This is your day to catch up if you need it. If you are done with everything ELA, you can choose 1 RAZ kids book to read and do the quiz.
Social Studies: African Americans were on both sides of the fight for freedom. The British had promised that any slaves who ran away and joined their army would be freed after the war. Some African Americans agreed signed up to fight on the American side. Today we meet one of them, James Armistead. Let’s find out what he did in America’s fight for freedom! When you are done watching the video, go to Google Classroom to finish the assignment you started yesterday.
