Good Morning and happy Tuesday! Below are the assignments for today. Ask questions in google classroom email if you have any! Here is a link to a calendar to print for a general overview of how our week runs. It is nothing new. It may be helpful to print for your own organization. You will continue to get lesson specific links on here. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1FquGEr0Zx-TNQn1R-CRJyGJ5VAt2I-WPhRL6cFVrh3s/edit?usp=sharing
Normally we would have a google meet today. This week I will be recording sessions for you and attaching them to the student’s email. Please see the memo from the superintendent regarding this matter. We will be switching to a new platform for the live meetings only, which will take a short while to learn and prepare. In the meantime, please watch the recorded lessons and email and ask questions. I am here to help. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1XRPvpmUYfCR_sRq14PSTYoyatM8n2SiccuMqG2ZwzC0/edit?usp=sharing
Dear Parents,
I hope you and your family are safe and healthy. Friday we completed the first week of our new Continuity plan guidelines and I am seeking your feedback. Below is a short survey to help us better understand the needs of the community as a whole. The collected results will allow us to make some well-informed decisions moving forward. It is anonymous and greatly appreciated.

Stay well and take care

Google Meet: Our Google Meet for this week have been canceled as due to a temporary issue the district has asked us to refrain from having live meetings until further notice. I will be training on a new platform for meetings on Thursday morning. I will update you as to the status of the meetings.
The district has had the Continuity of Learning Plan approved. It is important for parents/guardians to read it so you will know how things have changed since we first began remote learning. If you go to the elementary section it explains how grades will be done and what is expected of students for the rest of the year. You can see it here: https://dearbornschools.org/services/dearborn-public-schools-continuity-of-learning-plan/.
Students, if you are turning in an assignment on Google classroom that was assigned 4/20 – 4/24 please email me that you have turned it in. (This DOES NOT apply to students who are up to date with assignments.) Google classroom doesn’t notify me when you hand it in. This is not necessary for current assignments that were made this week, 4/27 – 5/1. The most important thing right now is to start completing the work from April 20 through the rest of the year. I will not be accepting work from the week of 4/20 after Friday 5/1 so please make sure you have it done before then unless there is a health or technology issue that you contact me about.
Also, some assignments are created by me and some are created by Mrs. Stetz. You should be doing all of them. This is similar to what we did in school but you might not have been aware of it.
*********************Don’t forget that Mrs. Baloga, Mr. Harvey, Mr. Goeke, Mrs Ackerman, Mrs. Poisson, and Mr. Kwiecien have assignments on Google classroom for you to work on. Watch for Google meetings with these teachers!!************
Wake up and let’s get started!
I will be at school gathering materials this afternoon so I will be unable to answer emails until I get home.

Today we are working on the Module 5 lesson Review. Go to the assignment in Google Classroom and complete it by tomorrow. You will check it tomorrow with my video lesson. You can print and do it on paper, but please type in your answers on the assignment to get credit for doing it. You do not need to send me pictures of your work. Just type the answers into Google Classroom. Finish it today so you have time to review it tomorrow. We will take the test on Thursday.
Science
*******If you have not taken the Mystery 1 Quiz yet, please do that as soon as possible so I can grade them and send results back.
This week we are working with Mystery 2. Today, continue the Mystery and try the experiment. You will need a yard stick, or long stick, binder clips or string, paper clips or tape. The pages for the activity are on the Google Classroom assignment labeled Mystery 2. You will need to print them out. If you don’t have a printer, watch the video and look through the pages. If you do not have access to these materials, don’ t worry. You can print or look at the pages and watch Doug do it. We did this in class earlier in the year as well. You should have your anchor phenomenon papers handy and a blank page to take notes if you need it. Stop at step 16, We will do the wrap up and anchoring phenomenon connection tomorrow.
