Happy Tuesday! I can’t believe it’s the last day of March already! We have music and PE today so make sure you spend some time working playing your recorder or singing and remember to get your body moving!! Don’t forget that Mrs. Baloga, Mr. Harvey, and Mr. Goeke have assignments on Google classroom for you to work on. Also it’s virtual spirit week so check and see what our activity for today is on the flyer below.

Now wake up because it’s time for you to do the Cookie Boogie!!!

Math:

Answers from yesterday’s math homework 5.9 https://embarc.online/mod/page/view.php?id=6305

Answers to the application problem: A. The picture box has the greatest volume because it has the largest dimensions of all the boxes. B. The flat and the book have the same volume because they have the same length and the width of the flat is half and the height is double that of the book box C. The Book box is 1/3 the volume of the lamp box.

Today we are working on the Topic B Review. Go to Google Classroom and click on the assignment labeled Module 5 Topic B Review+. Complete it by doing the work the best you can typing in the answers. You can print it out to do the work as well.

ELA: There is a new article to read called “Lost Treasure” from Scholastic News on Google classroom. You also have a couple of written assignments that go with it, Take Note and Close-Reading Questions. If you have not completed last week’s reading responses or Readworks assignment, please finish those as well.

There is a new spelling list on Spelling City. Spend some time getting familiar with the words and their meanings. Study them and when you are ready have someone give you a spelling test!

I have had a couple people send me their personal narratives. It was wonderful to read them! I would love for you to use some of this time to write. Write a story, a poem, a journal, create a graphic novel…anything. Just keep your brain busy creating! You could even think back to today’s science and write about your experience living on the moon!

Science Complete yesterday’s Mystery or any old Mysteries you have not completed.

On the same day Ethan Allen and the Green Mountain Boys were taking over Fort Ticonderoga, the colonies sent representatives to have another meeting, the Second Continental Congress. Watch the videos to find out what important business they conducted at this meeting.

If you are not caught up with the events of the Revolution so far, you should work on doing those first. The videos and assignments are on each day’s blogs so scroll down to find them.
