Happy Wednesday! Don’t forget to spend some time practicing your recorder or maybe sing some songs or both. Also, try to do something physical today. Mr. Harvey, Mrs. Baloga, and Mr. Geoke have assignments on google classroom for you to work on. If you didn’t finish last week’s music, art, and/or PE you can also do those.
Don’t forget about Virtual Spirit Week this week at Lindbergh! You will be posting your photos on your own social media feed for your friends and families to see. On Thursday, you can share it with Ms. Tiba and she will create a slideshow or collage of photos on our school blog for everyone to see!!! Join in the fun! I can’t wait to see your photos! Check out the link to see what we are doing each day: https://iblog.dearbornschools.org/bartonl/wp-content/uploads/sites/491/2020/03/0.png

Now start your day by getting your body moving!!!
We have time for some lead time today. Here is a funny video about Habit 6: Synergize. Then go to Google classroom to find a short writing assignment named Synergize.
Math: Check your math from yesterday. If you didn’t finish it yet go ahead and finish before you check so you can be sure you understand it. Don’t forget to finish the review on Google classroom.

Today you will work on lesson 7. Watch the video, do the ZEARN lesson and then we will do problem set numbers 1-4a, b and c are a bonus and homework numbers 1-4a, b-d are a bonus. Try them for a challenge if you have time.
There is a sprint today! Have someone time you or time yourself for a minute each time. See if you can beat your score. Answers to follow tomorrow. This is a great review to finish even after the time to keep up your skills you worked so hard on! If you don’t have the book with the sprints don’t worry, it’s okay.

When you are done with all of that you can work on Moby Max, Khan Academy, or M-Step practice.
ELA: There is a new assignment on Readworks. It is a fiction narrative titled, “Jump! Jump! Jump!” Work on that today. I have extended the due date for those of you not finished with the article of the day assignment we started last week.
Some of you have reading responses to your groups novels to finish. Pleases work on those today too. So far we have done a prediction, setting, character compare/contrast, and a roll the dice choice response.
There is a new spelling list on Spelling City. Spend some time getting familiar with the words and their meanings. Study them and when you are ready have someone give you a spelling test!
I have had a couple people send me their personal narratives. It was wonderful to read them! I would love for you to use some of this time to write. Write a story, a poem, a journal, create a graphic novel…anything. Just keep your brain busy creating!
Social Studies: I will wait another day to let more people finish the review. You can use the materials in your binder, the videos on the blog, and the online textbook to help you.
Science: Today we will explore a new mystery, Can Animals Laugh. Watch the video and test your knowledge and wit with the google assignment with the same title. https://mysteryscience.com/mini-lessons/animals-laugh?code=a5d9d2ac63553fa3eb772718f4ce88b5
Don’t forget that you can watch Mo Willems at 1:00 on The Kennedy Center site for Lunch Doodles each day. If you missed it yesterday, here is the video.
It’s time to visit our friends at the Cincinnati Zoo. Today’s video has us meeting the Red Pandas! You can visit the Cincinnati Zoo Live daily on Facebook at 2:30 or just wait for me to put the videos up.
Just for fun let’s visit the International Space Station again. Today he is clipping his nails!
Here’s the book, “Endeavor’s Long Journey.” It has fictional characters sharing facts with us about the Endeavor, which is pretty cool.
I hope you have a fabulous rest of your day! I would love for you to email me and tell me what you like about the blog, what you don’t like,(no fair saying math) 😉 and what other things you would like to see on it!
