I would like to wish all of you a very happy and safe Thanksgiving. I hope you all have a wonderful long weekend with your children and have time to do something fun!
**Students should continue to read 20 – 30 minutes each day…even during the long weekend. Remember to pick a mix of fiction and non-fiction reading material.
**Multiplication facts can be practiced in the car as you travel over the river and through the woods to grandmother’s house…or even if you are driving down 96 to the mall.
**Don’t forget about the family note that is due on Dec. 1st. This is a great weekend to have students talk with family members and find out your family’s history. They may not be able to talk to family members who immigrated to the U.S. but hopefully will get to hear the stories from your family’s past.
