Español I
This week in Spanish 1, students practiced some activities in the present tense. Students created a small book detailing what they do in their everyday lives in Spanish, and later in the week learned about the Iglesia skate in Asturias, Spain, an abandoned church that has been turned into a skate park. Students continued practicing their written work, for which they will have a quiz on next Tuesday.
Español II
This week in Spanish 2, students practiced some activities in the past tense. Students continued their work with shopping in Madrid, and put together a vacation they “took” in Madrid highlighting three shops they went to. Students will present their trips to the class informally on Monday of next week, and used their trips in writing a letter to a “friend” in Barcelona.
