End of the Year Picnic!

Dear parents,

Our End of the the Year School picnic will be Friday, June 7th. There will be more information coming but every year the PTA raffles off themed baskets. This year our class will be donating a Game Night basket. If you are able to donate any items, it would be greatly appreciated. Some examples are Sorry, Monopoly, Candy Land, Uno, card games, decks of cards and dice, etc. If you have any questions, please let me know! All items are due on Thursday, May 23rd.

Thank you!

We Are Authors!

Hello Parents!

Our class is writing a book, and your child will become a published author! Students are putting forth their best effort in writing and illustrating. These books will be professionally published and printed in full color! If you would like to order one, I have sent home an envelope with more information and directions explaining what to do. If you choose not to order a book, please mark that on the paper found inside the envelope and return it. If all of these slips are returned, regardless of whether you are a buying a book or not, our class will receive a free book to read and keep.

Thank you and have a great evening!

Morning Procedures

Good afternoon parents!

We are writing to ask for your help in supporting us to building independence in our Kindergarten students.  Please say goodbye to them outside and allow them enter the school and classroom on their own. If we are lined up in the gym, please say goodbye to your child in the gym.  If you are bringing your child to school late, please sign them in and let them walk to class on their own. We begin our school day at 8:35 a.m. Kinders are very confident with classroom procedures at this point and we want to continue building that independence in preparation for first grade.  We appreciate your help and understanding with this matter!

Thank you,

The Kindergarten Team
