A Few Picnic Notes…

Our Kindergarten Picnic is tomorrow!

Here is some important information to remember to help make our Kindergarten picnic FANTASTIC!

  • Due to the timing of the picnic, Kindergartners only need a LIGHT LUNCH to eat at lunch time. You do not need to send in a full lunch.
  • We still have a few things on our sign-up genius that need to be signed up for. Please check it out and see if you can help us out. THANK YOU!!
  • Please have all food prepared and ready to be served. Please bring any serving utensils that are needed.
  • Please bring either blankets or lawn chairs for you and your family to use. There will be NO tables for families to eat at.
  • Please arrive at 1:15 on the Kindergarten playground. YOU DO NOT NEED TO SIGN IN AT THE OFFICE. There will be two tables outside near the doors that the Kindergartners dismiss from.  Please sign in and put your food on the food tables. Mrs. Fleming will be there to help direct you if you need help. Please do not go into the classrooms. The students will be busy putting some finishing touches on a Kindergarten Surprise just for you!

Thank you and we will see you tomorrow!

We are excited to announce that for the 2019-2020 school year, Snow Elementary will have a Young Fives Kindergarten!
Please let your friends and family know!
If you have any questions, please see one of our Kindergarten teachers (Mrs. Fleming, Ms. Barakat or Mrs. Massey) or call the school office.
Please spread the word!
Thank You,
Mrs. Alcodray

Snow School Picnic

We’re just one day away from the annual Snow School Picnic; this Friday from 5-8pm.
All students who attend will be registered to win a free bike (two students/grade) donated by PTA. We also have bounce houses, face painters & a Pie throw activity.
We are asking for donations and volunteers through our signup genius link:

If you can donate baked goods, there will be a rack outside the office on Friday morning. All desserts are free to families so we appreciate your donation! The PTA will provide hot dogs, pizza, chips & drinks.
Lastly, we have over 15+ Raffle baskets filled with great gifts for our kids. We couldn’t have done this without the help from our teachers and Snow families — thank you!
We are looking forward to seeing you all on Friday!

A note about the Kindergarten Picnic…

At our Kindergarten picnic on Friday, June 7th, the Kinders will be performing a few songs for their families. We will also hand out their certificates. There will NOT be a separate graduation ceremony. I have had a few parents asking so I wanted to clear up any confusion.

Again, there will NOT be a Kindergarten Graduation ceremony. The picnic will be our celebration.

Thank you!
