We earned our class reward and decided to make animal hats to wear for the day!
We had a kindness circle and talked about things that might “wrinkle” someone’s heart. We learned when you say or do something mean to someone, saying sorry doesn’t always fix the problem. Instead we discussed things you could do to make someone happy.
We celebrated Earth Day and learned about different things we can do every day to help protect Earth!

To celebrate March is Reading Month, we have had a few guest readers come in and read to our class!
We had a blast celebrating the 100th day of school! We created what we think we will look like in 100 years and wrote about what we think we will be doing.
We learned about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. to help us understand why we don’t have school on Monday. We talked about how his dream was for everyone to be treated equally, regardless of what you look like. We came up with our own dreams too!
We’ve been working on writing books about how to brush your teeth in 4 steps!
We count how many days we’ve been in school every morning!

As a school, we read The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds. We made our own dots to show the positive mark we can leave in our school.
In math, we are learning a new strategy called a “5-group”.
