Hello parents!

Next week is a busy week for all of us. Our Holiday party will be Friday, December 23 @ 2:30-3:15. We will have pizza, decorating a cupcake and decorating an ornament. Parents are welcome to join us on this exciting day! If you can let me know in advance if you are volunteering. If you would like to get goodies for the class, there are 26 students.

Also, please send $1 with your child so we can buy the pizza, that would be appreciated. I will remind the students on Monday too.

As a brain break, we did the mannequin challenge. A big thanks to Mrs. Merhi and Miss Khuja for making this happen. The students did an awesome job! We had fun doing it and then it was back to business.

Hello parents!

Hope you are having a relaxing weekend. I gave the social studies study guide on Friday. Our test is on Tuesday so there is plenty of time to study 🙂

I hope everyone had a restful weekend. Just a few reminders for students to bring in the following items:

• index cards for multiplication facts
• old sock or eraser for white boards
• tissues boxes
• baby wipes
• Ticonderoga pencils (optional)

The PTA holiday shop will be Tuesday, December 6 at 1:30. Each item costs $2, CASH ONLY. If students wish to participate, please send money inside a sealed envelope on Tuesday.

Hello parents and students!

Hope you are enjoying your break! I’ve been busy at my mom’s  house prepping for today’s dinner. Every year we have about 30 family members and friends that come over to eat. It is such a wonderful time to spend with loved ones and create a new memory. I just wanted to say how thankful I am for my family, staff, students and their families. I am thankful for this wonderful year ❤️

Hello parents!

I just want to say what a wonderful night again! I had 100% of parents show for this marking period. It is essential to have an open communication between a teacher, parent and students. I’m so excited for the new marking period which will have a higher expectation for students to achieve. As a team, we will work together to make our students successful.

Just a reminder that tomorrow is late start. School starts at 9:35 am.

In addition, tomorrow and Thursday are conference nights. If you forgot what time, please let me know. I will also remind studnets  tomorrow. Last week I had 100% of parents show up, hopefully I will get the same percentages tomorrow and Wednesday. It is very important that we communicate and are on the same page for our students’ progress.   See you soon!
