Hello parents!

We have no power in the building. School will be closed for October 12, 2017.

Thank you,

Mrs. Attia

Book Bags

Hello Parents!

Today your child will bring home their book bags and books according to their reading level. Don’t be alarmed if your child is not on the same level as they ended last year. Usually kids drop back just a bit. We will both be working hard to make sure our students are reading daily. At home, I would like them to read their leveled-readings and they may also listen to Myon.

If you have any questions please let me know.

Farewell!

Dear parents,

I can’t believe tomorrow is our last day of school! It’s been a pleasure working with your children. It made my first year in the classroom an awesome experience. It’s a bitter-sweet moment. I’m sad to leave my kids of 9 months and excited to spend the summer with my boys.

Thank you parents for helping support your children’s learning and making them the best they can be. I know it can be hard at times but it’s all worth it when we see them as successful adults.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions via email.

Any feedback about me will help me grow as an educator. Feel free to message me your feedback about what you liked or didn’t like this year.

I hope to see you next year!

Enjoy your summer vacation 🤗

Sincerely,

Mrs. Attia

Reminders

Hello parents!

This week MSTEP (state test) has started from May 8th to May 19th. We will test Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Please make sure students sleep early the night before and get a good breakfast. Also, remind them to take this seriously and give their best effort. We will not have spelling or homework for those weeks. There are websites that we’ve been doing in class if students want to practice some MSTEP at home.

Next, I hope everyone received the Mother’s Day invitation for May 12th at 10:30 am. Please let me know if you need an extra one. We are excited to enjoy this day with our loved ones. If you can’t make, that’s okay just write not attending and send back.

Finally, the fidget spinners. These fidget spinners have been a distraction for students at school. Mrs. Sandi went on the PA and told students we are not allowed to have them in school. A lot of students are playing with them instead of using them for their purpose. Therefore, please keep all fidget spinners home.

Thank you,

Mrs. Attia
