The links are below for the trainings πŸ™‚ We will eventually move from the iblog to schoology once the parent log-ins are ready from the district.

Pick Up Materials 8-31-2020

Hello parents,

Tomorrow, Monday August 31st 1:00-3:00, River Oaks will be passing out chromebooks and materials needed for online learning. If you got a chromebook in the spring, you will not need a second one. It is important to come and get your child’s learning materials to have a successful learning experience.

The materials will be passed out in a curbside manner. Please DO NOT leave your car. Pull up and a staff member will help you. Make sure you know your child’s grade.

Your child’s NEW YEAR teacher will contact you within the next few days. It is important to be flexible and patient as we work through this pandemic. We are working hard on getting everything organized and ready for your child.

Also, there will be a Meet n’ Beep Tuesday, September 1st at 1:00. This is an opportunity for your child to “see” their teacher and other staff members. Again, please stay in your car and keep the line moving. Wave to River Oaks staff members and HONK the horn if you are excited for a new school year!!!

Hope to see everyone soon!!!

If you have any questions, you can call the office at 313-827-6750.

Thank you,

Mrs. Attia

2020-2021 School Year

As the new school year is approaching, there will be some changes to how we communicate student placement. This year, in order to help our community avoid large gatherings, class lists will not be posted. Instead, our classroom teachers will be e-mailing or calling the parents/guardians of students in their class. We will be having virtual orientation next week and classroom teachers will be sharing information about themselves, their class, and the focus for the upcoming school year via our classroom blogs.

Meet β€˜n Beep 2020-2021

Join us Tuesday, September 1st at 1:00 to meet River Oaks staff!!

Remember to stay in your car and wave to your teacher and staff πŸ₯°

I can’t wait to see my new students and my old students from previous years ❀️
