Using Google Classroom for RECORDER TESTING
Get an adult to help you. Download the Google Classroom app.
You are already registered for Google Classroom for Recorder (we
did it at school.)

Sign in with your user name PLUS dearbornschools.org
For instance 10311988@dearbornschools.org
When you’re ready for testing, do the following:
Have someone help you make a video of you playing your
Recorder song!

Click on RIVER OAKS 3rd Grade (or 4th Grade) to access music.
When you have your video recorded (your parents can use a phone or
tablet for this – easiest if they download the Google Classroom app)
Scroll all the way down! Choose “ADD” +

Use the paper clip or Google Drive. Select your video from your
computer/phone/tablet.

Click UPLOAD. Click TURN IN. It will ask you if you really
want to turn it in, Make sure you click TURN IN again!
IMPORTANT: Please add a COMMENT to let me know you
uploaded a video and I will receive an email notification from you.

Mrs. Ventura & Miss Green can both see and hear your videos!

Hello parents,

I hope everyone enjoyed their long weekend. February is almost over. The year is flying by!

A few reminders:

-Make sure students are reading daily for 30 mins. I would set a timer if that helps.

-Practice multiplication facts by skip counting, know that the 6, 7 and 8 are most difficult.

-Students should be completing one lesson of homework a day. They should not go on because I have not taught those lessons yet.

-I have some students with missing homework or don’t have their names. Students have math, spelling and reading everyday except the weekends. Of course sometimes there are expectations.

-Students have a Little Caesars Pizza Kit Fundraising Filer. The more kits we sell the more money we make for our school. The money we make goes towards our field trips, buses, field day, and any other activities/events that we have. The top three sellers in the school will get a prize!
