Just a reminder that tomorrow is the concert for 3rd and 4th grader at 2:00. Parents are welcome to join us 
Also, I sent home yesterday the Mother’s Day Tea/Coffee slip. It will be on Friday, May 11th from 1:30-2:15. I hope you can join us for some desserts and hot drinks. Please fill form if you are coming or not, thank you! We will have a raffle for the guests that come in.

A few reminders for the upcoming weeks, it’s going to be busy!
-Field trip forms and money are due April 23 is the last day because we need to give the final count to the office. Also, if you don’t want your child to go on the field trip, please write “I don’t want my child to participate on the field trip”, signed and return. I do have enough chaperones, thank you for volunteering.
-3rd grade music concert is Friday, April 27th at 2:00. Parents are encouraged to come and watch 3rd grade perform.
-MSTEP will be starting end of April, beginning of May, I will updates dates once they are confirmed. Please remind students to sleep early the night before, have a good breakfast and to take their time reading and answering questions.
-Friday, May 4th is our field trip to Greenfield Village. Hopefully the weather will be beautiful!
-Friday, May 11th will be my Annual Mother’s Day Tea/Coffee Party. I will send out forms to take a survey of how many guest we will have. There will be treats and drinks. Students always get excited for these events and hopefully you can make. The time will be around 1:30 since we have gym at 2:30 on Fridays. Also, guests that do come will be entered in a raffle for a prize. You don’t want to miss it!!
-Monday, May 14 is field day! This day will be filled with lots of activities and fun! I will send a reminder of more specifics once they are available, but if you would like to volunteer please let me or the office know. We always need the extra help.

I hope you enjoyed the long spring break.
Don’t forget Lansing field trip is tomorrow, April 9th at 7:00 am. An adult must bring student to school that day. Chaperones please be on time and I will have your groups for you. If all chaperones show, you will have a group of 2-3 students The bus will leave on time and will not wait for anyone so please be on time.
At the Capitol, we must all walk together but we can split at the museum. Or a few chaperones can walk together with their groups. I will give you more details that day.
The bus does have a DVD player (hopefully it is working) so I will get a movie for us to watch on the bus ride. Please don’t forget to send a bagged lunch. Dress students comfortably and according to the weather. Do not send any electronics or something valuable that may be lost.
