Dear Parents,
My name is Sara Assenmacher and I am very excited to be working with you and your child as we embark on another exciting year!
To start off, I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. I graduated from the University of Michigan-Dearborn with a Bachelors in Science, majoring in Mathematics K-8. I am also just starting my English as a Second Language Master’s Program at Western Michigan University. I also have two children and two dogs which I am sure you will hear many stories about.
To achieve our goals for this year successfully, it is important that we work as a team and I believe frequent communication is vital. We will be using Schoology for both our online learning and main communication platform. There will be more information about Schoology to come. I also check my work email often. It is important that all families sign up for my blog to ensure the line of communication is open and you are able to access all announcements and information as we begin our school year. We are going to have a great year, filled with learning, laughter, and building relationships. I am looking forward to meeting everyone very soon. I hope the summer was relaxing and we are all well-rested for a great year ahead!
