Students will be presenting their expressive sign project in class June 6th & June 7th.

All restaurant videos and peer assessments are due 4/10/19

Students will be researching information related to a famous Deaf individual.  A slide show will be required as well as a signed presentation of material.  We start Tuesday, February 26th!

Students are to finish the unit on emotions.

ilearn will be available for students to video themselves making a request.  Students may start submissions on Feb. 8th.

Students have watched 2 video stories and are to sign either the ASL gum story or Family Portrait.  All videos will be signed in class and on ilearn.  We will start recording them on Oct. 22nd.

We have since added  the units of Time 2, Colors and Meet and Greet.

Students should be up to date on the following  units:

Numbers 21-40, 41-60, and 61-80

Today we started to use the website Asldeafined.com.  Each student has an account that was purchased by Dearborn Schools for use during the 2018-19 school year.  It is a great opportunity to learn new signs and to reinforce the signs we have learned in school.  Students can access this site from home too!

I am very excited that each and everyone decided to continue your study of American Sign Language. This year I intend to run most of the lessons without voice, using the target language of ASL.  Be open and get ready to sign!!
