Week of April 20th, 2020

Hi everyone! Welcome to phase two of our remote learning plan.

This week we will run our learning through my ilearn course. You will have three tasks to earn credit for the week. If for any reason you are unable to complete the work, please email me.

Tasks:
1) Annotate a practice AP Question 2 excerpt
2) Write a practice AP exam response
3) Provide feedback to peers

After this week, we will likely break into two teams (1: A.P. exam prep; 2: novel reading/reflecting) and you will have choice in pathway.

You will also need to attend one of our two Google Meet live check-ins. We will try the recommended time slots, but please email if neither day/time works for you.

4th hour- Tues/Thurs at 1 p.m.
6th hour- Tues/Thurs at 2:20 p.m.

Looking forward to reading your comments and hearing from you all again!

Week of April 13th

Welcome back from “Spring Break” everyone! New review webinars from College Board are posted in our Google Classroom. Please spend the week catching up on these valuable reviews as you prepare for the revised and online A.P. exam coming up on May 13th at 2 p.m.

For our work this week, please email, post, etc. something to me to check-in on how you are doing. I need confirmation that you are all reading posts and ready to go for new learning next week! Thanks all!

Week of Monday, March 30th

For this week’s work, we will take a nod from the College Board’s Webinars for AP Literature and Composition and focus on poetry. You will see a variety of poems connected with our current situation posted on our iLearn. Please spend some time each day reading, reflecting, and adding onto the ideas of others via our Annotation tools. Lastly, please continue to tune in to or catch up on the AP Live Webinars and homework readings. I hope you are all well, taking care of loved ones and yourselves, and finding time to laugh and appreciate the life you are leading right now. Please reach out anytime.
