Good morning. I hope you and your families are all safe. For the next three weeks, we will be doing any all and all assignments online in platforms that you’re all familiar with: google classroom, I-Learn, and Remind. Please be sure to check this blog daily for updates. I will also send mid-afternoon reminders in remind. Please know that you will be expected to keep up with all assignments daily. Phone calls will be made home to notify parents that students are not doing assigned work. In this time, we all need to be responsible and keep up with the work. If you need to reach me, I am available by email and remind. If you are in a co-taught class, you can also reach Mrs. S at Szajnek@dearbornschools.org.

In chapter 15, what is “the mob” trying to do and why are they trying to do it? What does this tell the reader about life in the South during this time. Use specific textual evidence in your response.
