Planetarium :(
Thank you to the 6 parents who were volunteering to drive and chaperone to the field trip. The students and I appreciate you! However, we received word that the Planetarium equipment broke and the field trip is canceled for now. If we are able to reschedule it, I will send a note at a future date.

Planetarium
A big thank you to a couple of parents who have volunteered to drive and chaperone next Tuesday, February 4th to the Hammond Planetarium. We need enough parents for 23 students. If you are available (or even if you aren’t but can rearrange your schedule) please visit Mars. Jumaa in the school office to get the paperwork processed ASAP. Please consider helping out your child and their classmates – the students are really looking forward to this field trip. If we don’t get enough drivers, we will have to cancel.
Upcoming Field Trip
We have a field trip scheduled to the Henry Ford Hammond Planetarium (at Henry Ford College in Dearborn) on Tuesday, February 4. We would be leaving at approximately 8:45 a.m. (right after I take attendance) and returning around 1 p.m. We need parent drivers and chaperones. Please come to the school office and sign up to get approved as soon as possible. (It takes about a week to process the paperwork.) If you already got approved previously, please visit the office and update your paperwork (insurance, i.d., etc.).
If we do not get enough drivers and chaperones, we will have to cancel the trip.
