Math Module 2 Assessment, Social Studies Unit 3 Assessment, and NWEA

We will be finishing up Module 2 in Math on Monday, and begin our review for the end of the module assessment. Students were assigned some problems from their workbook and directed to start reviewing for the assessment on Thursday. I returned their Mid-Module Assessments so they can look through those problems, in addition to reviewing some problems that might have caused them difficulty.

For Social Studies, I uploaded some reading material into our Google Classroom on the 13 Colonies – the New England Colonies, the Middle Colonies, and the Southern Colonies. We have done some work and reading on them from our atlas. If students get time this weekend, please ask them to read through the Google Classroom packet, too. The S.S. Assessment for Unit 3 will be on Friday. On Monday, they will receive the S.S. study guide to start working on that.

We were able to finish our Language and Reading NWEA assessment this week. Next week, we will tackle Math and Science in NWEA. Their overall NWEA results will be sent home in approximately 2 weeks.
