Math Test and Other Goings-On

We have our unit 4 district assessment on Wednesday. It will cover everything from the past 4 weeks of instruction:

• long division
• partial quotient division
• interpreting the remainder with division
• multiplying and dividing by powers of 10
• decimal division
• grid pictures for multiplying decimals by decimals
• algebraic expressions

Thursday morning, the students will take Mrs. Dearth’s social studies assessment.

Thursday afternoon, we will be decorating gingerbread houses. Please do not send in any of the supplies (except for the base and aluminum foil which is needed tomorrow) until Thursday.

Friday afternoon will be the party, followed by the Howard Sing-A-Long in the gym.

Over the break, students will be assigned a solar system project. The instruction sheet with guidelines will be sent home by Friday.
