Greetings to All,
Today was a busy day! We started with an assembly to acknowledge EARTH DAY! Earth Day is tomorrow. Students were treated to a fun and educational presentation on the three R’s-reduce, reuse and recycle. However, the presenter ended with a fourth R as he played the famous song by Aretha Franklin-RESPECT! All of us need to RESPECT our planet and all the living things that call EARTH home.
Next, students worked on two projects throughout the day. One for Veterans-decorating trays and making cards for veterans at Detroit Veteran’s Hospital.
Then Market Day companies worked on either making products, writing speeches or commercials, and design posters for their stores. WOW!
