Happy Spring Break!
We had a fun filled day. We started with an assembly. The assembly was a “thank you” from Mr. Short to the students for their hard work and effort to increase their NWEA scores. Two students were chosen from each class to throw a pie (a small plate filled with whipped cream) at Mr. Short. The kids loved it!
We ended our day with another “thank you” from our PTA. PTA treated all of us to an ice cream sundae. Of course the kids LOVED it!
I hope everyone has a relaxing, fun filled vacation. When we return to school our focus continues to be on M-STEP preparations. Our year is quickly coming to an end and there are numerous assessments.
M-STEP, NWEA,and DRA’s are assessment tools used for students to show what they have learned each year.
