Spirit week has been so much fun. THANK YOU for supporting these fun reading events. I have been reading a wonderful book to the class called The Wild Robot by Peter Brown. The story centers on a robot named ROZ who finds herself shipwrecked on an island full of wild animals. Our friendly and curious robot decides to learn about her new environment. We have worked on a few extensions activities including research on uninhabited islands, the role of technology in our everyday lives and a combination of art and reading about the various animals on the island.
Tomorrow a few students are planning a little leprechaun fun and we will get to hear the Dearborn High Football Team read to our classes.
