Greetings!

This year I am serving as the school library media specialist at McCollough-Unis (K-8), River Oaks Elementary School and Stout Middle School. My job is to teach information literacy to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders, and to be a resource to all students and staff members in my buildings. That includes helping students with research, gathering instructional materials, reader’s advisory, purchasing and processing new materials for the media center, and a myriad of other things. I also host the annual Battle of the Books competition at Stout Middle School.  I’m looking forward to a getting to know my new students and colleagues and having a wonderful school year.
