Content Objective: I know the rules for alphabetizing words.

Language Objective: I can put a list of words in alphabetical order.

Procedure:
Review treasure chest guidelines and class expectations
Read aloud: “Oh yeah!” by Tom Birdseye
Brain Break: Go Noodle “Melting”
ABC order presentation (simplified) and whole group practice.

2nd Grade:
Content Objective: I know the rules for alphabetizing words.

Language Objective: I can put a list of words in alphabetical order.

Procedure:
Review treasure chest guidelines and class expectations
Read aloud: “After the Fall” by Dan Santat
Brain Break: Go Noodle “Melting”
ABC order presentation and whole group practice.

3rd Grade:
Content Objective: I know the rules for alphabetizing words.

Language Objective: I can put a list of words in alphabetical order.

Procedure:
Review treasure chest guidelines and class expectations
Read aloud: “The Incredible Book Eating Boy” by Oliver Jeffers
Brain Break: Go Noodle “Melting”
ABC order presentation and whole group practice.
