1st Grade:

Content Objective: I know what I can and cannot do when I am in the media center.  I can properly search for a book and use a shelf marker. 
Language Objective: I can identify the different areas of the media center.  
Procedure:

  1. Orientation Presentation and discussion
  2. Tour of the Media Center and demo of shelf marker usage
  3. Read Aloud:  “We Don’t Eat Our Classmates”

2nd Grade:
