- Preview and demo the classic maze program on code.org. Explain how to correct mistakes made and make adjustments to code commands.
- Independent Practice.
3rd Grade: Content Objective: I can implement search strategies for locating information on a variety of topics. Language Objective: I can navigate print and online resources to locate the answers to questions on a variety of topics.
- Explain the rules and procedures for the resource scavenger hunt.
- Let the hunt begin! 5 stations: Dictionaries, Encyclopedias, Thesauri, Atlases, and iPads (to access the various websites we have used to access information online). The team with the most correct answers gets to visit the treasure chest.
