Students are selected in collaboration with the Site Leader, Site Assistant, teachers and tutors to come-up with student(s) who demonstrated a sustained effort, who display or perform their personal best, always and who exhibit and/or display the District’s core values.

Dejaun Wilkins a fifth (5th) grade student-participant stands next to Educational Site Leader for River Oaks and School Administrative Intern for both Fordson High School and Snow Elementary Mr. Leon Vietinghoff. Dejaun was selected by his teachers, instructors, and tutors for his hard work & dedication during the month of March in preparation for the current M-STEP testing as well as demonstrating respectful, responsible behavior during that time. Outstanding work, Dejaun! 🙂

On Thursday, March 22, 2018 our River Oaks ACCESS 21st Century Program will be canceled due to Elementary Parent-Teacher Conferences taking place. Our program will resume on Monday, March 26, 2018.
