Writing

Communication is a crucial skill in the 21st century that we all need to learn.

Please encourage students to write at home as much as possible. Below are just a few ideas.

  • Keep a daily log of activities.
  • Write about what you are thankful for.
  • Write a story from a different perspective.  If the book is written from one character’s point of view, change it to another character’s point of view.
  • Write about something you are learning at home.
  • Explain something new you have learned at home.
  • Write an opinion piece on whether you think everyone should stay home right now. Make sure to give valid reasons.
