Book Report

We have a book report due on Tuesday November 29th. Students have all brought home the assignment with a book and an extra page of circles for the chips.  Below is a reminder of what to do and book suggestions if they choose they don’t like their first book.

Non-fiction: literature that is not fictional, thus the literature is real
Directions: Choose a non-fiction book on a topic of your choice and read your book. Your book report is going to be a bag of chips. On the front of your bag write the title of your book, the name of the author, the name of the illustrator, and draw a picture about the topic of your book. On the back of your bag write a summary of the book. Remember when writing a summary, the summary should be shorter than the book. It should also tell the main idea and the most important details from the book. Inside the bag write one fact about your topic on each potato chip. Cut out your chips and place them in your bag.
