2020\/2021 Kindergarten Enrollment Procedures<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kindergarten:<\/strong>  Your child should be five years old on or before September 1, 2020<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Young Five Kindergarten<\/strong>:  Your child will be five years old between <\/p>\n\n\n\n

September 2\u2013 December 1, 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

     *Kindergarten Waiver Request:  Parents need to complete a kindergarten waiver if their child will turn five between September 2 \u2013 December 1 2020 and the parent\/guardian wants to enroll the child in young fives\/kindergarten program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

     *The State of Michigan mandates that all children must be 5 years of age or older no later than December 1 in order to be eligible for enrollment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Due to Govenor Whitmer\u2019s \u201cStay Home, Stay Safe\u201d Executive order, our K-12 Enrollment process has been modified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pre-Enrollment:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

     Complete the online pre-enrollment by visiting: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

     https:\/\/dearbornschools.org\/services\/enroll   This step does not hold a spot for enrollment until your documentation is received and validated by the Student Services Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you have completed the online pre-enrollment, email the required documents to dept-studentservices@dearbornschools.org<\/a>.  You can scan or take a picture of the documents and then email them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

     *If you have technology limitations or feel more comfortable submitting hard copies, please email student services:                                                                      <\/p>\n\n\n\n

dept-studentservices@dearbornschools.org  OR call 313-827-3068. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once all required documents have been received, your child will be enrolled.  Student Services will call or email you a confirmation when the enrollment is complete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
