Letter books will be sent home today. \u00a0Due on Thursday!<\/li>\n<li>On Thursday, October 2, we will need some parent volunteers to help us with our Five Senses Stations. \u00a0We will start at 1:00 p.m. and will take about an hour. \u00a0If you are able to volunteer, please leave a comment below. Please no siblings!<\/li>\n<li>Playdough Maker needed: \u00a0We are looking for someone to help us make playdough for our classroom each month. \u00a0I have a great recipe that takes only about 10 minutes. \u00a0Let us know if your interested by commenting below.<\/li>\n<li>Thanks for the awesome lab coats! \u00a0We are still looking for a few more white, oxford shirts so that each kindergartner will have their own lab coat.<\/li>\n<li>We will have Late Start on Wednesday, October 1. \u00a0The first bell will ring at 9:35 a.m. \u00a0So sleep in! \ud83d\ude42<\/li>\n<li>There will be no school on Friday, October 3, or Monday, October 6 so enjoy the long weekend!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Important Future Dates:<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday, October 23, 2014 our kindergarten class will be going on our first field trip to the Plymouth Apple Orchard. \u00a0We will need Chaperones\u00a0for this trip. \u00a0If you would like to be a chaperone, please make sure that \u00a0 \u00a0 your\u00a0background check is completed in the office. \u00a0You will need to bring in a valid&#8217;s driver&#8217;s license to Mrs. Cathy in the office. \u00a0 It takes about two weeks to process. \u00a0So don&#8217;t delay, do it today! \u00a0Field trip permission slips and information will be sent home next week.<\/p>\n<p>MORNING WORK:<\/p>\n<p>Each morning, the students come in and start practicing his\/her writing on their whiteboards. \u00a0They may practicing their name, letters, numbers or words.
