Here is what you need to know for the week of September 15th<\/p>\n

- I have been chosen as Lindbergh’s Science Leader this year! \u00a0Yahoo! \u00a0However, I will be out of our classroom on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for some extensive training. \u00a0I have requested the very best guest teachers for our class while I am\u00a0out. \u00a0If you need to reach me during this time, please email me at wrightt1@dearbornschools.org. \u00a0Thanks!<\/li>\n
- Lunch Choice: \u00a0on Monday the choices will be ravioli and grilled cheese. \u00a0At Lindbergh, we will not served Shrimp Poppers like the menu says due to severe allergies.<\/li>\n
- Letter Study of the Week: \u00a0M \u00a0m \u00a0 \u00a0Letter books will be sent home on Monday and will need to be returned back \u00a0by Friday! \u00a0Nice job on the S page!<\/li>\n
- Book Fair will be in the Media Center this week. \u00a0Our preview day and time is Monday at 10:55-11:15. \u00a0If you would like to volunteer to help, please sign in at the office and meet us in the upstairs Media Center during this time! \u00a0Thanks! \u00a0During the preview, no money is needed to be sent in. \u00a0Your child will make a “wish list” that will be placed in your child’s red folder on Monday. \u00a0If you would like to purchase books, the Book Fair is open before school and after school. \u00a0The Book Fair will also be opened during Open House on Thursday, September 18th.<\/li>\n
- Lindbergh’s Open House will be on Thursday, September 18 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. \u00a0I am very excited to see everyone. \u00a0Although we won’t be having parent teachers conferences then, you will be able to sign up for conferences that will take place in November.<\/li>\n
- The weather seems to be getting cooler, please make sure that your child is dressed appropriately!<\/li>\n
- Lunchboxes: \u00a0please make sure that your child’s name is marked on the outside of the lunchbox. \u00a0It makes it so handy when it is well-marked as we pass them out at dismissal time.<\/li>\n
- Classroom Behavior: \u00a0in order to maintain a positive learning environment for our students, it is very important that our students learn to follow directions the first time given. \u00a0Please give your child a pep talk\u00a0about this each morning before school.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
