Dear Families,<\/p>\n

Our kindergarten class is really starting to follow the procedures in our classroom. \u00a0This morning the students came in with their red Take-Home Folders, make their lunch choices and went right to work at their tables while Ms. Wright took the attendance. \u00a0Take a look!<\/p>\n

Here is what you need to know for this week:<\/p>\n

Monday- \u00a0Your child’s letter book will be sent home today in their red Take Home Folder. \u00a0This week we will be studying the Letter S. \u00a0Please help your child to find 5 pictures that start with the letter S. \u00a0You may use magazines, computer clipart, photographs, etc. \u00a0The letter book will be due this Friday. \u00a0The complete directions are located on the S page in the letter book. \u00a0Have fun and good luck!<\/p>\n

Tuesday- Your child will be going to the Media Center to check out library books. \u00a0Your child will also be going to MUSIC and ART.<\/p>\n

Wednesday-\u00a0Feel free to sleep in today! \u00a0School starts exactly one hour later. \u00a0First bell rings at 9:35 a.m. \u00a0See you then. \u00a0We will be going to MUSIC today.<\/p>\n

Thursday- We do not go to any special classes on Thursdays.<\/p>\n

Friday- \u00a0Letter books are due today! \u00a0Your child will be going to GYM (wear gym shoes) and Media Center today<\/p>\n

Last Friday, our black swallowtail butterfly emerged from its\u00a0chrysalis! \u00a0Here are some pictures of us releasing it. \u00a0It flew over Lindbergh School with no problem. \u00a0What a sight!<\/p>\n
